Holland House® White With Lemon Cooking Wine
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup Holland House® White with Lemon Cooking Wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp capers, drained
- 24 oz fully-cooked frozen chicken or turkey meatballs
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley leaves
Directions
- Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat
- Add shallots; cook 2-3 minutes or until softened
- Stir in flour; cook 1 minute
- Gradually whisk in Holland House® White with Lemon Cooking Wine until blended
- Add broth, juice, capers and meatballs. Bring to boil
- Simmer on medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until meatballs are heated through (165°F), stirring occasionally. Stir in lemon slices.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving
