Garlic & Herb Shrimp is a culinary delight that combines succulent jumbo shrimp with a zesty marinade featuring Holland House® Red Wine Vinegar. Our Red Wine Vinegar infuses the marinade with a vibrant, tangy kick, complementing a medley of roughly chopped fresh herbs, including parsley, basil, chives, cilantro, mint and garlic. The result is a marinade bursting with flavor.

  • 1 cup roughly chopped mixed fresh herbs (parsley, basil, chives, cilantro and mint)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup Holland House® Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 - 1/2 pounds raw jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined (21 - 25 count)


  1. Pulse herbs and garlic and in food processor until finely chopped.
  2. Add vinegar, oil and salt; process until well blended but not completely smooth.
  3. Combine herb mixture and shrimp in bowl; refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
  4. Heat grill to medium - high.
  5. Thread shrimp onto skewers; discard marinade.
  6. Grill shrimp 3 - 4 min. on each side or until done.


  1. For the best flavor use a combination of at least two different herbs. This is a perfect recipe to use up remnants of fresh herbs and could also include rosemary or sage leaves.
  2. Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 min. before using to prevent burning on the grill.
  3. For a spicy kick, pulse 1 serrano or jalapeño pepper with herbs and garlic in food processor.
  4. Serve shrimp as a delicious appetizer, or make it a main dish atop rice, other grain or a salad.
  5. Use your stovetop: Marinate shrimp as directed. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet on medium - high heat. Add shrimp, discarding marinade. Cook 2 - 4 min. on each side or until done.
