Ingredients

Asparagus

  • 2 lbs. asparagus, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 lemon sliced

Lemon Sauce

Directions

For Asparagus

  1. Pre heat grill to about 350° to 400°F.
  2. Trim tough ends from asparagus, rinse and pat dry. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle minced garlic over asparagus and toss all until the asparagus is well coated.
  3. Place asparagus on grill. Close lid for 6 - 10 minutes or until spears are tender and crisp, rotating as needed for even grill marks.

For Lemon Sauce

  1. Add Holland House® White Cooking Wine to a saucepan and place over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Whisk in butter and sour cream. Add lemon zest and whisk until smooth.
  2. Remove asparagus from grill and squeeze lemon slices over cooked asparagus. Place on a serving plate and drizzle with sauce or serve sauce alongside.
