Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw peeled & deveined large shrimp (31-40 count)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely grated
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Holland House® Sherry Cooking Wine
  • 1 Tbsp chili crisp
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped cilantro or thinly sliced green onions

Directions

  1. Combine shrimp, ginger and garlic and in bowl
  2. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat until shimmering
  3. Add shrimp in single layer; cook 1 minute undisturbed
  4. Add Holland House® Sherry Cooking Wine and chili crisp. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque
  5. Garnish with cilantro or green onion before serving

Tips

  1. Chile crisp, a spicy condiment made with oil, chiles, Szechuan peppercorns, garlic and shallots, is often available in the Asian aisle of the grocery store.
  2. Serve with rice, pasta or on a salad. This dish can also be served as an appetizer with slices of warm, crusty bread.
